“If my story gives you the strength to get through another day or the tools to support someone you know on this journey, my suffering has not been in vain.”

Follow the Her Canberra link to read Lyndsay’s story of the loss, at 36 hours old, of little Frankie as published in Her Canberra.

Lyndsay has established a fundraising campaign to provide children’s book to help siblings deal with the loss of their little baby sister or brother. It’s called Stories From The Stars. The ‘Stories from the stars’ campaign will run through to the end of December 2023. All donations will be collated and final numbers will be posted to the NICF website early January.
We would like to acknowledge with deep gratitude the many offers of help we have received for this campaign. Our particular thanks to Peter at ‘The Book Cow’ in Kingston for his generosity, and both his time and energy to turn our idea into reality, and make this book drive possible. A thanks to Jamie at Supercurious for his talent pulling our ideas into a graphic and design of our promotional posters.
Thank you for supporting the Neonatal Intensive Care Foundation (NICF), The Canberra Women and Children’s Hospital and most importantly, local families and siblings.
In loving memory of all our babies who were taken too soon, who shine through the stars.
