All money raised from the Snowy Mountains Adventure Ride supports the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation (NICF). The Foundation funds medical equipment, research and nurse education to help sick newborn babies of the Canberra region.

Meet our newest fundraiser…

Born of an idea and desire by Year 5 schoolgirl Kat to help children and babies in need. Kat told us she chose our charity for her fundraising to support a local cause that helps families in her community. She added that it was also a special cause to her because her little sister had to spend 3 weeks in hospital when she was born.

Since she was a little girl Kat has watched her dad enjoy riding his adventure motorbike to explore back roads and trails off the beaten track, all while connecting with friends and making new ones. She thought it would be a fun way to raise some funds for charity and decided to organise her own adventure ride tour!

What started as an idea to rope in some of Dad’s mates has… with a little bit of help from her friends and sponsors… evolved into a full-blown event!

The Snowy Mountains Adventure Ride for Charity to help the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation purchase new equipment for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Canberra Hospital will be running from 8th to 10th March 2024.
